
Caroline Dean (she/her) is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. She earned a dual BFA in Dramatic Art and Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently finishing her MFA in Film Directing at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, Brooklyn College. Caroline worked as a PA in New York City for several years on television shows such as Law and Order: SVU, The Blacklist, and Inventing Anna. Her directorial debut film Hermit Day premiered at the Chicago Underground Film Festival and was awarded with Best Experimental Film at London Rocks Film Festival. Caroline's next short films to enter the festival circuit are titled Welcome to Snugville and Foxglove. She is in post-production stages of her thesis film Mail-Woman-Lady-Girl. She looks forward to showing this film to audiences and continuing to connect with other filmmakers and artists.
